The Hendrick Hudson Free Library provides the opportunity to volunteer or complete community service requirements within our neighborhood library. Under the supervision of staff, volunteers gain valuable experience working in a professional setting performing a variety of tasks related to the daily operation of a community library. Though we don’t have an abudance of opportunities for volunteers, you can see some of the opportunities listed below. Please submit a Volunteer Application below or call us for more information.
Shelf Readers: Monitor a section of the library’s collection and make sure items are in their proper place.
Program Assistance: Assist with events such as creative craft workshops or special programs for children or adults.
